Wake County Schools

A local Developer donated land for a new Elementary School in the Six Forks area of Raleigh, NC.  During the summer of 2008, Wake County Schools needed to have classroom and school space ready for their upcoming fall session.  They contracted with SMM to lease five large modular buildings for two years while a permanent school was being built nearby.  The project was comprised of (2) 123’ x 64’ Buildings with Eight Elementary Classrooms, (1) 123’ x 64’ Building with Eight Kindergarten Classrooms, (1) 123’ x 64’ Building with Administration Offices and Library and (1) 96’ x 64’ Building with Multi-Purpose Rooms and Dining areas.  These buildings accommodated approximately 700 students.
